Revlon Photoready Primer - Review

My first impression of this was like, 'what the heck???!?'. When I looked at it, it looked sooo creamy and thick.

I applied it today and oh my god it was so smooth. After rubbing it into my face, it felt like a really soft kind of powder. You could feel how it even out your skin and how smooth your face felt. When applying my foundation, I could just see and feel how smooth it glided on.

I think my foundation did stay on longer though out the day, you could see on the makeup wipe how much I took off.

In the next picture, I didn't rub it in fully, I just wanted to show you the consistency.

Now, the next I have rubbed it all in.

I think if you have dry skin, I would not recommend. It is quite drying and a little matte, so if you have oily skin I think it would be perfect. I don't think I would repurchase though, only because I would love to try out other primers in other brands.

Lucas Paw Paw Ointment - Review

Oh my god, words can honestly not explain my love for this lip balm. It is my number 1 lip product that I go to on a daily basis. I use this about every hour of the day and I'm not joking when I say that.

This is either my 3rd or 4th time purchasing the paw paw and I just love it and would recommend it to anyone. I think it's only in Australia since its made in Queensland I think, but I think you might be able to purchase it online.

It has am oily constancy and its just so smooth on the lips. It's not too oily which is nice too.

It's made from the fruit papaya and its so bloody hydrating.

It's not only for your lips, which most people use it for but it's also for boils, burns, chafing, cuts, cracked skin, gravel rash, splinters, open wounds, insect bites and nappy rash.

It's just amazing and I honestly can't describe how perfect it is and the best part..... it's sooo cheap! It's anywhere from AUD $4-$5.

NYX Glam Shadow Stick - Review

I really love shadow sticks in general. I think they are just so easy and quick just to put on.

I have shade Elegant Marble which is just a nice shimmer light brown/bronze, it's a neutral that I knew I would wear and use everyday. It's very creamy so it goes on so easy, I like to use it as both just a normal eyeshadow and a base, so I can intensify the colour even more.

I would rather eyeshadow sticks then powder eyeshadows, I find it ten times quicker, easier and you can always carry it with you where ever you go. Even the colour is better then powders.

I would repurchase this, mostly because it is very cheap. All of the stick eyeshadows I have tried seem the same, some are just a little more creamy and it also depends on the colour you get. I got this off Beautyjoint and I can't remember the price but I believe it was below AUD $5.

The Body Shop Body Butter - Review

Ahhhh this body butter is just so nice omg. You can see that I have the pink grapefruit flavour. It smells the besssttt, it's hard to describe smells but this is a really strong fruit smell. I would say it has a sour smell if that makes sense, but it is still sweet at the same time.

I use this all over my body after showering and it's the best. Sometimes it does absorb straight away which is the best but sometimes it takes really long. I'm not sure why it does both sometimes but it can be really annoying.

I would like to repurchase this but I am no where near to finishing the body butter. I have the big one which is 200mL. I would love to try out the other flavours because I have heard good things about them!

Top Lip Picks for Winter!

In Australia, it's winter. I think winter is my favourite season, I don't know why but I just love it!

In the winter, I think that the nudes and dark colours are really in.

First, I have just a classic red. It's Rimmel 170 Alarm. Red fits in every season, it's just so classic and goes with everyone. Here is a swatch with it on my lips.

Next, I have a nudish/pinky lipstick. It's a pale colour and its so lovely. It's just a pretty pink. It's Maybelline 025 Pink Please. I think this would be an everyday colour in winter since its just so nude and goes with everyone's skin tone.

The last colour I have is a deep purple. It's got a hint of red in there which is good so it doesn't look to purple and weird on the skin. Looking at this colour, it goes look weird and an unusual colour but I think you would get use to it. It is defiantly a love or hate colour, you really do have to be careful with it too because you have to match it with clothing, weather, hair and much more. I think it suits pale/pink tone skin really nicely.

I'm thinking of doing a 'Summer Lip Picks' soon too, since it is summer on the other side of the world!

Revlon ColourStay Ultimate Suede Lipstick - Review

So, I have shade Finale 095, it's like a red/pink/orange colour. The colour is really pretty.

When applying, it feels very soft on the lips and just glides on so nicely. The colour is very pigmented and seriously stays on forever! Although, after about 10mins of having it on, it gets really sticky and feels abit weird on the lips, but it isn't so sticky that you have to take it off.

I tried on the lipstick and had it on for about 5 hours and I did NO touch ups throughout the hours. I took a photo about every hour, so here it is....

I would stay this lipstick is more of a lip stain, the colour does stain your lips and doesn't crumble or crack off after some time, which is good. But the only problem I have is that it is really hard to get off.

After 6:30, I tried to remove it with just a tissue and was left this this...

You can see the colour is still in the lips of my lips. I don't usually remove with just a tissue and water, but even if I removed it with something different it doesn't help. I try to remove with a wet face washer too but that is still hard.

I would repurchase this, it is fairly pricey though in Australia. It is about $26 which is about $24 US, which is absolutely over priced.  I would really like to try out other colours from them too.

Rimmel Blush - Review

I also got this a few months ago and I never got around to using it. It's the Rimmel 3 colour blush. When I use it, I think you have to mix all of the colours together but I don't really like doing that because I seem to get it too dark.

I have the combo 001 Spring Flower.

The colours are really nice colours and are really pigmented. I use the colours separately and apply to my cheeks.

The first colour, which is the light pink is a shimmer, it has some glitter in it and the rest of the colours are matte, but they do have a little bit of sheen to them.

I think that I would repurchase this, but I don't think I would really need too since I have a lot of blushes haha.
