Mirenesse Mascara - Review

As soon as I applied this, my eyelashes lengthened 10 times more. This mascara makes my eyelashes so natural but really long at the same time.

That is just one coat, I don't have a photo after 2 coats but I'm sure you know what it would look like.

I would 100% recommend this mascara to absolutely anyone! It comes off so easily too which is perfect for me because I just like using water. 

I can't remember how much I bough this for but I have to buy a new one because I bought the smallest tube. 

Maybelline The Falsies - Review

Let me start by saying, I owned the left one first which is Black Drama. I had it for about 4 months and it was working perfectly. 

I'll start with the positives first, I really do love this mascara. It's defiantly one of my favourites. The formula is actually perfection, it lengthens, gives volume  and it just does everything you want a mascara to do. It's just amazing. 

One day though, I was about to use it and as soon as I pulled it out of the bottle, I could tell it was different. I didn't really care so I applied it and it was just horrible! The formula didn't lengthen and made my eyelashes just disgusting and all cluggy. It was pretty much a full bottle so I have no idea what happened, it felt empty and just weird. I know after about 3-6 months mascaras go 'stale' but I mean one day it was perfectly fine and the next it was just so different. 

After that, I knew I needed to buy a new one because I knew that hadn't happened to anyone else and I've always heard such good things about it and never anything bad so I thought it was just me.

I knew there was a sale on makeup in my chemist so I thought it would be a perfect time to purchase a new one since they were half price. So I saw the Black Drama one and the Flared one, I decided to go for something different and the the silver one which is on the right in the photo.

This is my biggest regret, I don't know why but the formula felt the same as my old Black Drama one which is so weird. I was really disappointed. It makes my eyelashes cluggy and doesn't lengthen much. 

I would really love to purchase Black Drama again when it goes on sale since it was so good.

Revlon Nail Polish - Review

Revlon nail polishes are always so nice. I really love the colour range and the formula of them.

I'm not to sure about the colour of this one though, in the bottle it looks lovely but on the actual nail it's too dark and looks like more of a off red. 

I really do love Revlon nail polish though and I can find it for really cheap so I would defiantly repurchase since all of their products are so good. 

Worst buys for under $5!

Oh my god, I wrote this WHOLE post and the whole thing deleted. So here I go again.

First, I have NYX lipstick in their matte formula. I have heard a lot of mixed reviews about these. I have found that some colours have different formulas. The colour I have in particular I have heard and experienced that the lipstick is sooo chalky and just yuck when you apply. The colour is so amazing though and it just upsets me. When applying I've found that its really hard to apply and really drying and doesn't look good on the lips at all.

Next is a Maybelline lipstick. I usually generally like Maybelline lipsticks and its not the formula I don't like. It's the colour, when buying this on the Internet, the colour looked soooo different but when I got it it was white, literally. It's like transparent and you can't even see it. It does have some shine to it as you will be able to see in the swatch below but when applying it, you can't even see on the lips. I bought this for about $3 on sale.

Now, this one is my last lip product, it's a lip liner from Revlon. This lip liner is the worst I've ever had. It's so hard and drying on the lips and its just horrible. It drags my lips when I apply. I have more I'm this liner if you interested, just scroll through my blog. I bought this for $3.99.

 Next is Rimmel Stay Matte powder. I have heard so many great things about this product, but for me I find it really cakey. When I apply it I look so cakey and powdery it's just horrible. It feels very heavy and looks weird too. I brought this for $4.99 on sale. 

Now since I can't afford expensive makeup wipes, I like to try different cheap ones. I know this can be bad for me since I have sensitive skin but I thought I'd give it a try. These wipes though, oh my god. The broke me out sooooo bad and they are just horrible. I bought these for $1 on sale, I have another brand which is amazing which I will feature in an upcoming post soon. 

Best buys for under $5!

Since I know a lot of people can't afford expensive stuff (me) I thought of doing this post on the best things I have brought for under 5 dollars. 

Number one is my Paw Paw. It is my favourite lip balm ever. If your interested in this product, I have done a separate review on it, so check it out. You can buy this for anywhere from $4-$5.

Next, I have a blue eyeliner from Rimmel. I have brown eyes so I think that blue or green eyeliners make my eyes really stand out. I have the colour Turquoise 007.I bought this for $4.97.

Next, I have NYX round lipstick in Gem. I bought this for $3.

After that, I have NYX butter gloss in Peaches and Cream. I bought this for $4.75.

I bought this next product for $3 I think, it's Elf Tickled Pink blush.

My last product is Rimmel lipstick. I have it in shade Cutting Edge. I bought this for $4.99 on sale.

Top Lip Picks for Summer!

So since its summer on the other side of the world, I thought I should share my top lip picks. I know this might sound bad, but I really dislike summer. I live in Australia so it is extremely dry and hot so when it's summer, Australia just catches of fire... literally! We have sooo many bush fires and I hate it, obviously. 

In the summer, I see alotttttt of bright colours. I think that a lot of corals and pinks are in for the summer.

First, I have a lip gloss. It's NYX butter gloss in Peaches and Cream. Which is a really nice pinky coral. Perfect for summer.

Next, in the middle is Rimmel Kate Moss 16. It's a bright pink colour. It has a really funny smell to it though, it's kind of sour. But it is so lovely for summer.

The last one is NYX round in Gem. It's a shimmer hot pink. I usually hate shimmer lipsticks but this one is sooo nice. It's not frosty which is nice too.

Revlon Photoready Primer - Review

My first impression of this was like, 'what the heck???!?'. When I looked at it, it looked sooo creamy and thick. 

I applied it today and oh my god it was so smooth. After rubbing it into my face, it felt like a really soft kind of powder. You could feel how it even out your skin and how smooth your face felt. When applying my foundation, I could just see and feel how smooth it glided on. 

I think my foundation did stay on longer though out the day, you could see on the makeup wipe how much I took off.

In the next picture, I didn't rub it in fully, I just wanted to show you the consistency. 

Now, the next I have rubbed it all in.

I think if you have dry skin, I would not recommend. It is quite drying and a little matte, so if you have oily skin I think it would be perfect. I don't think I would repurchase though, only because I would love to try out other primers in other brands.
